In 2010 I spent 1 year in Australia to learn more about growing and making wine. Out
my longest continuous stay was 8 months in the Barossa Valley. What a magical place! I
got a good idea of ​​all the different wineries in this area. For years I have been trying to get Elderton’s exceptional wines to the Netherlands. And this has finally been achieved, albeit on a small scale.Elderton has achieved great fame with this wine. We became very quiet when we had more than 20 year old Command in our glass. This also applies to this wine; storing properly is thebest option. The Command 2017 has a deep dark red color, scent of ripe plums with hints of oak and spices. The taste has the characteristic soft, chocolate and ripe red plums, blackberries, as well as some dark berry flavors accentuated with notes of herbs, spices and cedar wood.
