Looking for a robust yet drinkable wine? Get to know Bikavér, also
known as bull’s blood. The name already gives something away about this powerhouse. This Bikavér is named after Saint
László, the patron saint of Szekszárd. This historical knight-king is also
called God’s athlete because of his physical attributes and his memory as a moral, strict but fair
ruler, both on the battlefield and in politics. Just google Wikipedia while you’re tasting.
It will come as no surprise that the wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels. And then the flavor profile:
Ripe fruit, sweet barrel spices, tight structure, coffee, cocoa, a pinch of cardamom and cloves,
full, creamy and a long aftertaste. Royal!
