Description
This Soave – yes, there are also very fine Soave wines – is a white varietal wine produced from the Veronese Garganega grape, from vineyards with low yields and harvested by hand at three different ripeness levels. A careful fermentation in stainless steel tanks is followed by bâtonnage on fine lees. This Lepiga is a flawless innovation of the age-old Soave wine tradition. Intense straw yellow color. A pleasant surprising fruity taste with both freshness and depth, giving the wine an intriguing and balanced structure. The nose has a complex aroma with hints of exotic and summer fruits, pears, peaches, herbs, almonds and minerality, with traces of roasted vanilla. The taste is rich, but with sufficient freshness.
